Review: MAMORE dog raincoat (easy rainy walks)
A short, practical review of the MAMORE dog raincoat: fit, comfort, and what to watch for when sizing.

Sizing varies by breed—measure chest + back length before ordering.
I wanted a raincoat that’s simple enough to use on a normal morning walk—no wrestling, no complicated straps, and no “my dog hates this” body language.
After a couple rainy weeks, this MAMORE raincoat has become my grab-and-go option.
What I liked
- Fast to put on: once you learn the strap order, it’s a 20–30 second job.
- Good coverage without stiffness: it blocks drizzle and splashback without feeling like plastic armor.
- More visibility: the reflective bits help when the weather is gray and the streets are busy.
Real-world fit notes
- The chest measurement matters most. If you’re between sizes, I’d rather size up and adjust than have it too tight.
- If your dog has a deep chest (retrievers, poodles, many mixes), check that the belly strap sits comfortably and doesn’t rub during longer walks.
Who this is for
- You want a simple rain layer for walks (drizzle, wet pavement, light rain).
- You prefer something that’s easy to put on more than something ultra-technical.
One caveat
It’s a raincoat, not a mountaineering shell—heavy wind + sideways rain will still find a way in. For most everyday walks, it’s a good balance of coverage and comfort.
